Hindustan Post, a new Punjabi Newsweekly is being launched shortly from Toronto ( Canada) by Gaunda Punjab, a  24- year old  radio and television broadcasting unit headed by a popular radio broadcaster Joginder Singh Bassi.

Though  facing stiff competition and ready comparasion with  over two dozen weekly newspapers already being  published from Toronto alone, Hindustan Post is sure to make its presence felt because of its corporation’s declared policy committment to extend the newspaper’s  main coverage area from  the usual limited area of Punjab to the whole of India. Hindustan Post is strongly dedicted to serve the Indian Community in Canada in the matter of culture, language and day-today affairs and problems. We hope that Hindustan Post would soon become  a household name and therefore, the true but strong voice of the people of Punjab and India in Canada
